Commander Walker Day April 21st After lunch in Shotley Marina, the party caught the ferry across to Harwich and joined an excellent guide from the Harwich Society.  This Society had rescued the Fort, dating from Napoleonic times from complete dereliction to its present state of excellent preservation and fascinating collection of rooms and artefacts, including some pretty impressive guns.

And then, the inevitable tea on the pier before catching the ferry back!
